Federal prosecutors are trying to ban the autopsy reports from the Tuscon shooting that targeted U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and killed 6 people. The prosecutors feel that releasing information could hurt the courts chances for a fair trial. CNN has an interesting article explaining the topic in more detail. A recent quote from CNN states:
"There is concern that release of the autopsy reports, which describe the cause of death and trauma to the decedents' bodies, may spawn prejudicial depictions of the decedents' manner of death in the press."
